The 2 Profitable Online Business Models
In this article, I focus on sites created for profit. There ARE sites that are not for profit. For instance, personal sites, fans sites, sites backed by non-profit organizations, government sites, etc. I'm not going to touch that topic.
What I'm going to talk about are business sites, sites with the main or only, purpose of making money. There are countless sites out there offering various products or services, for free or for a fee. Some sites offer really rare information or products that may seem a bit strange to ordinary people, these are targeting a very niche market. Some are targeting much broader markets.
No matter what products/services these business sites offer, most of them fall into one of these two categories:
